sbr pros only minimum 5 points/bet, total net exposure i want is 1000 points - so if you want for example tom brady you can only bet 40 points on it. and if someone already has 10 bet on brady, then i'll only take another 30 until i get some bets on other players. post in this thread and ship the points, i will confirm for action these lines are straight from bovada, if there is no touchdown scored everyone loses. if someone not on the list scores the first touchdown, then "field" is the winner.

sorry jj but 5 and 6 are terrible numbers if there is a gap between the 4 and 5 in the cage then there is slightly more value to the 4 and 5 (depends on the track) otherwise 1, 2, and 8 are always the best numbers to bet, and the order is 1 best position, then 8 then 2 here's a breakdown of what i learned - i went to a dog track at least once a week for 15 years before they closed here. dogs are very beatable, even at 20% house take. 1) in a grade d...

no contradiction. "stewart" is the controlled opposition to our leaders, but he's really on the same side. to make it look like he's on the "people's side" to protect us from corruption by outing it in a funny way he needs a more american name. why do you think ben "shalom" bernanke dropped the shalom? let's see who holds dual citizenship (us/israel) in positions of power in the us: rahm emanuel us attorney general (!) head of the department of homeland security (!) etc etc etc etc "How you would react to the Head of Homeland Security if he or she...

i know we have seen these types of threads here before, but none of them pointed out some of the stuff i have problems with.
i have a hp touchpad also so i will be comparing pros and cons vs. the touchpad
pros:
**WAY more apps, although some of them are getting pricey, i think angry birds on ipad is $6.99 and free on touchpad
**much lighter and skinnier
**safari uses tabs, whereas the hp uses whole windows that you flick off the screen. this could be considered a pro or con depending on personal choice
**faster navigation
**can get free digital books from the library,...

thanks ngates and also enjoy your thanksgiving
the thread title was in reference to all the new threads the past few days saying what a great and easy pick detroit was. i thought they were setting themselves up to fail by rooting for the underdog or rooting against the 10-0 team.
i think there is just as much emotion in people betting on detroit looking for someone to beat the packers as there is emotion on us "homers" rooting for the packers to keep winning.
i think i'm done trying to "find myself" since i'm at least twice as old as most of the posters here, and i'm not scared of anything, including death. certainly not scared of losing a bet seems like i embrace it (just ask anyone that has seen me in vegas about this lol) but thanks for the support, and again, best wishes for the holidays.

ngates i apologize for making no sense to you.
in the future i will make sure to bet on every single angle, no matter how small, even though i said in the original post to either take gb OR the over OR lay off and i do have action on gb money line through that future bet for gb to go 11-0. i will have enough emotional interest in this game without adding stress by putting money on it. it's a holiday for crying out loud it should be a fun and relaxing time with family without having to worry about every play in a football game.
again i apologize a million times for offending you, not sure what else i could do for all the hurt i caused you by forcing you to waste time attacking me 6 TIMES in this thread.
you are the greatest poster in the history of sbr, and i will make sure to check with you before posting anything in the future.

um sorry but
1) the packers haven't played in milwaukee in 15 years or so - i live much closer to chicago than gb
2) i didn't bet the brewers against the cardinals, but the series cost me quite a bit since i had world series tix that i could've sold for each game
the packers haven't lost a road game by less than 6 points this year, so by betting the lions you are praying for the unusual.
how is it a "homer alert" for some of you guys when i'm not even betting the game? although i do have action with sbrjohn's special on gb going 11-0.
my point is that the right side is either gb or the over but at 6 the line is probably close to right. no reason to see value in the lions like a lot of people here are doing, there are much better plays on the board.
and i guess a 10-0 team that has won 16 straight games has no claim to being one of the best teams ever? there's a very short list of teams that have won 16 games in a row

i could also do this and show a different pattern oregon won 2 of the last 4 | 2007 Sun Bowl | Oregon | 56 | South Florida | 21 | Won | | 2008 Holiday Bowl | Oregon | 42 | Oklahoma State | 31 | Won | | 2010 Rose Bowl | Ohio State | 26 | Oregon | 17 | Lost | | 2011 BCS National Championship Game | Auburn | 22 | Oregon | 19 | Lost | or i could go back another 3 years (you seem to conveniently stop going back before oregon's 3 game bowl winning streak) and show oregon won 5 of their last 11 bowl games, averaging over 27 points a game. but that would defeat many of the haters' argument that oregon's offense is easily stopped in bowl games :lmao: | 1999 Sun Bowl | Oregon | 24 | Minnesota | 20 | Won | | 2000 Holiday Bowl | Oregon | 35 | Texas | 30 | Won | 2002 Fiesta...

ok let's recap those 3 games that oregon "laid an egg" in
natl championship - lost 22-19 to #1 nfl draft pick cam newton averaging 6.2 yds per play to auburns 6.1 yds per play.
rose bowl vs ohio st - lost 26-17 averaging 4.9 yds per play vs ohio st 4.7 yds per play.
boise st game - lost 19-8 only averaging 3.5 yds per play to boises 4.1.
so 2 out of those 3 games (and 3 out of 4 if you include this year's lsu game) oregon had MORE yards per play than their opponent. kind of defeats your argument that their offense only works against "fake" defenses instead of real ones (not sure what a fake defense is unless they are using smoke and mirrors instead of 11 players).
i guess "laying an egg" is losing a national championship game on a last second field goal, and outgaining every opponent including your close losses.
:lmao:
